Shetellia Riley Irving

According to sports reporter Shams Charania, the choice is historic as Shetellia Riley Irving is believed to be the only Black woman currently representing an active NBA player. Shetellia has spent the last four years as the Vice President of Ad Sales for Black Entertainment Television and before that she spent over five years as BETs Account Manager.

Kyrie Irving signed a four-year, $136.5 million contract with Brooklyn in July 2019 and has a $36,647,050 player option for the 2022 /2023 season. Will Kyrie Irving become a free agent… or exercise his $36,647,050 player option. Shetellia Riley Irving will play a major role in helping him make that decision.

Kyrie Irving Philanthropy

In July 2020, Kyrie Irving set aside $1.5 million to support WNBA players who opted not to play the rest of the 2020 season as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic or to pursue social justice endeavors. On December10, 2020 Kyrie Irving via his foundation, the KAI Family Foundation also paid off the tuition of nine graduating students at HBCU Lincoln University.
